Can you sell a hospital bed back after using it?

Yes, if the bed was bought from AA Alive Sdn Bhd / Yaya Katil Hospital Prihatin: we buy it back at 50% of the bed-frame purchase price within 1 year of the purchase date. The bed must be in good condition, and a collection fee applies. Mattresses and other soft items are not bought back, for hygiene reasons. For example, a Flexi 3 Function (M08) frame bought at RM1,349 is bought back at RM674.50 before the collection fee, and a Standard 2 Function (M15) at RM799 is bought back at RM399.50. After one year the buy-back no longer applies. It suits families who expect to need the bed for more than a few months but less than a year. For a shorter need, renting from RM150 a month with an RM0 deposit may cost less. The tables below compare both options for one, three and six months at our current prices.

Net cost is the purchase price minus the buy-back value, before the collection fee. It excludes delivery (up to RM280 one way within Malaysia) and any mattress or accessories.

This compares bed prices only. Across 642 completed hospital-bed rentals, the median lasted 31 days and the middle half lasted 19 to 83 days, so for many families renting for one to three months still costs less.
